Andrew Martin was born in America. He started his
career in photography in Milan, Italy, shooting fashion and portrait
assignments for Italian and American magazines. This work led to the conceptual
advertising work for which he is now known.
After five years in Italy, he returned to the United
States, shooting in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and
Atlanta with US agencies such as Leo Burnett, J Walter Thompson, DDB
Needham, Bates USA, Gray Advertising and Ogilvy on brands like Coca Cola, BP,
Hallmark, Volkswagen, Reebok, United Airlines and McDonalds.
He has won several noted advertising awards including
Archive, Mobius Award and Communication Arts Awards. Andrew continues to shoot
for magazines such as Vanity, Allure, Glamour, Bon Appetite and National
Geographic Traveler.
Andrew currently divides his time between living in
New Zealand and Chicago. He enjoys spending his down time investigating
the rich culture of art, music, theatre, and cuisine. He is often found
on a bicycle, swimming, cooking, and playing guitar with his garage band.
Traveling is also a passion he continues to explore throughout the US, Europe,
New Zealand and Tahiti whenever possible.
