Born in the tropics of Australia, Damien began his career shooting at the age of 18. His discovery years bought him to Sydney where he honed his photography skills and in 2006, began travelling extensively with his career. Opportunities firstly bought him to New Zealand then Italy and Germany, before eventually settling in London, where he was based for the last eight years.

Damien is best known for his conceptual approach to shooting fashion and advertising. His unique style incorporates visual storytelling, capturing the essence and narrative of the overall idea. This has enabled him to shoot for an array of published magazines, as well as repeat campaigns for independent labels within the UK and abroad.

Longing for the warm weather and the great outdoors has now bought Damien back to the shores of New Zealand.

His personal interest in extreme sports and travel has recently opened up a new passion in photography for sports advertising and travel/lifestyle photography (All new portfolio in the works).

His clients have included Air New Zealand, Amazon, Nescafé, FHM, Highsnobiety, Black Magazine, Bloomberg Pursuits, Harry Stedman, MA.STRUM, Suprembeing and Realm & Empire to name a few.
