Cyril Lagel, un homme, un artiste, une sensibilité avant tout, mais aussi un amoureux de la perfection. Voilà que tout commence dans un monde qui n’est qu’à lui, qui lui appartient sans partage. Il ne photographie pas l’instant, mais il invente une histoire avec la précision d’un Véronèse ou d’un Titien. C’est là qu’il a puisé son sens exceptionnel de la couleur, celle de toutes les vies, celle qui met des paillettes d’arc en ciel dans nos yeux et un Niagara d’émotions dans nos coeurs. Il sait mieux que quiconque jouer avec les nuances et les textures, avec lui les lignes, les fuites et parfois les aspérités s’enlacent jusqu’à se perdre dans les courbes les plus voluptueuses. Ne laissez pas filer ce baladin, il est déjà ailleurs, sa planète n’est pas la votre, ne sera jamais la notre. Qu’il caracole et que sa rigueur et sa virtuosité nous offrent ce qu’il a de plus beau, son âme.

He does not take a picture of the moment, but of an instant with a story of his own creation and with the flair of a Veronese or a Titian.  That is where he shows his exceptional sense of color which puts forth a sparkling rainbow of color in our eyes and a torrent of emotion in our hearts.  He is a master of the subtleness of form and texture.  With him there is a crispness of line and roughness that rushes forward only to be formed into the subtleness and smoothness of voluptuous curves.  Do not loose sight of this wandering artist  whose talents are creating another planet that will never be ours but that he lets us see.  Through his drive, his rigor and his virtuosity he offers to us the most beautiful thing he has, his soul.
